Interview

Today I had a interview with a guy who applied for a dietary aide position. I had his and a few other resumes on my desk when he came in, so I grabbed his resume "Matthew" and started the interview by saying, "Let's first get this out of the way.. I see you checked that you've been convicted of a crime. Can you tell me about this?" He was dead silent and then got really nervous. Turns out I grabbed the wrong resume and this was a different "Matthew" who has never been convicted of a crime. Ooops. Not a good way to start an interview :)
