Most days working in nursing homes are tough. Alzheimer's disease is scary and sad, but at times, those residents can say the funniest things.
Last week, as I was leaving a resident's room, she asked if I "had ever been Miss America or in the movies?" She also asked if I was in high school. A little distorted and confused, yes, but that comment has pretty much made my entire week :)
